Fertility and Gynecology Acupuncture

What is fertility Acupuncture?

Fertility acupuncture's main focus of treatment is to help the body get back to balance so that the chance to have a baby increases for each couples. In fertility acupuncture, the main focus for men and women is different. In men, since every case is different, seeing whether they have and excess or deficiency and helping them with balancing that element is important. For females, helping with the circulation, and creating a comfortable environment in the uterus is important.

Does acupuncture also work with PMS or Gynecology issues?

 Many symptoms may occur with hormonal changes. In cases with Peri menopausal symptoms, it may take longer to treat because some patients takes time to rebuild their "Yin energy". The human body in TCM is also a balance between Yin and Yang energy. For many cases in Pre menopausal patients, they have consumed Yin energy a lot and difficult to rebuild it. The treatment consists of combinations of lifestyle, eating habits and good amount of the rest. Acupuncture is helping to support rebuilding the yin energy, and regulating the body so that the menopausal symptoms can alleviate.

For many girls, having pain and irregularities is usually a sign of stagnation or imbalance within Chinese Medicine. In TCM a "normal" period is usually from 1-5 days, and may have some discomfort but not painful.  Acupuncture is used to help with the flow, and regulate the organs so that every periods for girls are not as painful anymore.
